BIOGRAPHY

Christopher Rich is the Managing Partner of Perkins Coie’s Portland office, where he has practiced environmental law for three decades. His work spans permitting, compliance, enforcement, cleanup, transactions, project development, and litigation, with extensive experience in resolving disputes with regulatory agencies.

Christopher has particular expertise in Clean Water Act compliance, including stormwater permits and citizen suit cases. A frequent speaker and author on water quality and enforcement issues, he was recently named Lawyer of the Year in Environmental Law in Oregon.
