BIOGRAPHY

Alan Yeakley is the Professor of Environmental Science and Associate Dean at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. A registered professional hydrologist, he has earned national recognition for his research in watershed hydrology and ecology, securing numerous grants and awards.

Alan has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and authored Wild Salmonids in the Urbanizing Pacific Northwest. His leadership includes service on Oregon’s Independent Multidisciplinary Science Team, where he advanced science-based approaches to environmental and water resource management.
